Information about AmberConUK 2019

Welcome to AmberCon UK ’19, the twenty-sixth annual AmberCon UK !

A few small details to make your weekend run more smoothly. Please read it!

All games are on the third floor of the conference centre. We have the Burlington room, the Waterhouse room, the Brooke room, and two smaller rooms near them. Tea and coffee are available in the refreshment area adjacent to the game rooms.

Please try to be on time for your games, and let your GM/players know in advance if you will be late.

Friday    Registration 5pm – 6pm
  Dinner for residential members 6pm – 7pm
  Slot 1 7:30pm – late
Saturday  Slot 2  9am – 5pm
  Banquet 6pm – 7pm
  Slot 3  7:30pm – late
Sunday Slot 4 10am – 6pm

When returning to your bedrooms, please try not to disturb any other guests, especially if your game has run late.

Dinner on Friday is served in the restaurant at 6pm. (All residential members.)
Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 10:30am. (All residential members.)
Lunch for all members is served in the restaurant at 12pm on Saturday and 12:30pm on Sunday.
The banquet on Saturday night will be served at 6pm in the restaurant.
For those of you who haven’t signed up for the banquet, there are plenty of alternative places to eat in Newport Pagnell.

There are water coolers provided in the game rooms, the refreshment area has tea, coffee and fruit. The bar is open until midnight.
Please do not bring in any food or drink from outside.

When all the games have finished on Sunday, you are welcome to stay and socialise in the coffee lounge or the bar even if you are not staying Sunday night.
You can also get food from the hotel.

Costumes are welcome, and encouraged, but please bear in mind that no weapons, replica or otherwise, can be permitted, and masks which cover the face should not be worn in the public areas of the hotel. Please try to avoid scaring the hotel’s other guests (or staff).

Hotel Information:
Unless you are staying Sunday night, you should check out on Sunday by 11am. You may still use the hotel facilities after you have checked out.

As last year, in an attempt to save trees (and money) and generally modernize this year we are using an online questionnaire, the link to this will be available Sunday and you will have 7 days to submit feedback.
